Course Objectives
•      Study and understand the anatomy and physiology of the human voice.
•      Master the language (technical and imagistic) that will enable you to communicate effectively with your voice students.
•      Develop observational and diagnostic skills for effective teaching.
•      Discuss practical issues of teaching.
•      Teach 8 30-minute voice lessons to a non-major voice student (6 will be taped and reviewed by Dr. Holzmeier; 1 will be observed by Dr. Holzmeier during Finals week).

•      1 of the 8 lessons will be a 30-minute demonstration lesson and exit interview for Dr. Holzmeier during Finals Week

Inexpensive 90-minute audio tapes, CDs, OR video media (DVD, Hi-
     8, or mini-DVD) to record lessons.
Inexpensive tape recorder with internal or external microphone, MP3      recorder, OR videocamera.  I will not listen to lessons taped on      mini-cassettes or listen to lesson on any of your personal hardware      (MP3 player, tape recorder, etc.).
